In a recent blog, we wrote about a few of our favorite fictional characters who would probably never be able to make bail. Although there are plenty of characters like this that exist, we were able to narrow it down to three. And with Halloween right around the corner, we figured we’d take things just a little bit further.
That’s why today’s blog is all about our favorite characters from Halloween movies. So without further ado, let’s take a look at a few characters that wouldn’t make bail, courtesy of the team at A-1 Affordable Bail Bonds!
The Sanderson Sisters
If you’ve never seen Hocus Pocus, do yourself a favor and find yourself a copy of the DVD. Written off by many as a cheesy kids movie, this film has none the less shown to be endearingly enduring. Thanks to an interesting cast comprised of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, this movie has gone on to become a cult classic, largely due in part to the work of the previously mentioned actresses as the Sanderson Sisters. When they are resurrected on All Hallows Eve, the Sisters wreak havoc on the town of Salem. Should the Sisters ever return again, it’s unlikely that they would be granted bail due to the trouble they caused the first time around.
Beetlejuice
Tim Burton’s classic film about “the ghost with the most,” Beetlejuice is another beloved Halloween classic. With a cast that boasts having some of the best actors around–actors such as Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, and Winona Ryder–this is a film that’s easy to love. As the titular Beetlejuice, Michael Keaton presents a poltergeist with a penchant for causing trouble. After nearly destroying the house that belonged to the Deetzes, we sincerely doubt that Beetlejuice would be given a chance to make bail.
Slimer
Known as the large green ghost from the Ghostbusters franchise, Slimer might not immediately spring to mind as someone who wouldn’t make bail, but consider for a moment what his first appearance in the franchise looked like. Not only did he terrorize the much-beloved Bill Murray, but he also absolutely destroyed a fancy hotel dining room along with priceless chandeliers and kitchenware. We just don’t think that there’s much of a chance of poor Slimer ever making bail if he found himself sitting in jail.
